About us

The RNOH Charity is a vital partner in the way the RNOH delivers care. Since its inception in 1997 we have received and administered millions of pounds’ worth of donations, which have funded improvements to hospital facilities, supported pioneering research, funded staff training, and assisted in numerous other essential projects.

The charity's primary focus is to help the hospital to provide world-class care for all its patients and support the hospital's pioneering work in orthopaedic research and education.

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust (RNOH) is one of the top centres in the world for the treatment of many complex orthopaedic conditions, including acute spinal injuries, bone cancer, and congenital limb deformities. As a national and international centre of excellence, the hospital treats over 120,000 patients annually, from all over the world. More than 30% of the hospital’s work is for children, who undergo surgical procedures ranging from spinal correction to the lifesaving removal of cancerous tumours.
