What is Buttercup Breaktime?

Buttercup Breaktime is a way for you to support RNOH Charity by hosting your very own Bake Sale or Afternoon Tea.

We are asking friends, family and colleagues to come together and help raise funds so that we can continue to support the vital work of RNOH and give hope to those battling bone cancer, spinal injuries, and other complex orthopaedic conditions.

How much does it cost to register?

It is free to register for your Buttercup Breaktime. All we ask is you set a fundraising target and raise vital funds from your event.

When can I hold my event?

You can hold your event where ever you wish - at home, school, work or even the local park!

Where do the funds that I raised go?

Funds you raise from your Buttercup Breaktime will go towards providing hope for those battling bone cancer, spinal injuries, and other complex orthopaedic conditions.

How can I promote my Buttercup Breakime?

Head over to our Resources tab where you will find hints and tips, plus a poster and social media tiles that you can share. If you’re fundraising in your workplace, ask if you can advertise on your internal communications channels or add to your email signature.

The Cause

Who is RNOH Charity?

RNOH Charity strengthens the vital work of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hopsital on an ongoing basis by providing extra services and facilities that are beyond the reach of the hospital’s NHS budget. 

What projects have your fundraised for?

The Charity has funded all the high-quality equipment for every single ward in the hospital’s stunning new Stanmore Building, and a range of other enhancements, including a brand-new children’s activity centre, uplifting artwork, social spaces for teenagers and children, and two rehabilitation gyms.

How else can I get involved in supporting RNOH Charity?

Every year the RNOH Charity needs to raise significant funds to help provide much-needed support for the hospital.  We can only achieve this with your help. Find out more here
