100 Miles, One Thank You 💙

This March, I’m taking on a 100-mile walking challenge in support of RNOH Charity.

This cause is very personal to me. I had surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospitalin in September 2024 - left proximal tibial replacement and I’m incredibly grateful to the doctors, physiotherapists, and nurses who supported me through it - and who continue to help me in my recovery.

This is my way of saying thank you 💙

I’m still rebuilding my strength, and longer distances can be tough - which makes this challenge feel even more meaningful.

I’ll be walking throughout March and sharing regular updates on how many miles I’ve covered - some days might be impressive, some… less so 😄

If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, big or small, helps RNOH Charity continue their amazing work supporting patients like me to recover and get back to living life.

And if donating isn’t possible, cheering me on or sharing this page means just as much!

Thank you so much for your support 💙

💙 Surprised, Happy, 100 Miles Done! 👣 20 March

Saturday 21st Mar

Slightly ahead of schedule, slightly surprised, and very happy about it.

Not that long ago, even a short walk without crutches felt like a challenge.

So reaching 100 miles - and doing it before the end of the month - still feels a bit hard to believe.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported, donated, and followed along - it genuinely made a difference.

I still have a few days left in March, so I’ll keep walking and sharing photos from previous walks - curious to see how many more miles I can add by the end of the month.

75 miles already 👣

Monday 16th Mar

quick milestone update - I’ve now walked 75 miles of my 100-mile challenge for RNOH Charity… and it’s only the middle of the month.

Seeing the miles add up like this still feels bit surreal.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way - it really means lot.

25 miles to go!

How am I actually walking all these miles?

Sunday 15th Mar

Honestly, it’s mostly through everyday life.

My miles come from little daily routines - walking out for coffee, school runs, the walk to and from Pilates twice week, and just wandering around museums and parks. London is actually great for slowly building up miles without really noticing.

Saturdays are usually my “bonus miles” day - we go on longer family walks, exploring parks, different neighbourhoods, or even a castle now and then.

For me, this challenge isn’t about pushing through pain. It’s about slowly rebuilding strength and finding ways to stay active that I actually enjoy.

The amazing thing is noticing how all these little walks really add up, and realising I can do more than I ever expected.

50 miles down, 50 to go! 👣

Wednesday 11th Mar
Halfway through the challenge and still going strong (most days!). Thank you so much for all the support so far - it really helps keep me moving.

First milestone reached - 25 miles! 👣
