The 17th David Holmes Charity Cricket Cup in aid of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) is here!

On Monday 31 August 2026, the rivalry will reignited as defending champions and eight-time winners Slytherin face off against equal eight-time winners Gryffindor in a match that will be packed with all the drama of the Quidditch pitch and more!

Here’s where you can help us make a difference:

Every pound raised goes straight to RNOH Charity, funding projects the hospital can’t achieve on just an NHS budget. Projects that really help transform lives. So far, donations have:

• Supplied state-of-the-art medical equipment such as mobile arm supports, cough assist machines and custom wheelchairs to give patients independence and comfort
• Equipped a room for patients who need to stay in the hospital’s inpatient building
• Renovated the Spinal Cord Injury Centre day-room into a bright, accessible space for patients and their families to take a break from the busy wards, socialise, watch a film, prepare food or just relax and enjoy the view on to the garden
• Expanded the Spinal Cord Injury Centre to treat an incredible 24 more patients each year
